DJ Whitecoat, Alx Sosa, Gramma and Genie Juice On Deja Vu FM

Published on May st, 2011

This Week I Propa Enjoyed my Set I Played Some Banging new UK House
and Finished Off with Some new cuts off Dimples New Mix cd “last Laugh Vol 3″.
After that I opened up the Mics to Gramma Mc and Genie Juice, who tore the set
to smitherines.

I started off with some Vocal UK House first up was a track I’ve played before
called “Smile” by the lovely Wyen Solo. Next up was the Bangaaa “How Does It Feel”
Produced by myself and Vocalled by the most sought after vocalist at the moment
Jae Elle, that track is out on June 8th and available from Beat Port and Itunes on
Bongo Riddim’s/ALR Music, Next week’s Show is the prelaunch. We then proceeded into
a track by Sasha “Cheat On You” Naughty Raver on the remix and Vocalled by a new
up and coming artist called Jasmine Knight, the voice of “Swagger”.

I then Played my remix of Seany B’s “Lose Control” featuring Sophia, and dropped
into another one of my remixes, which I think is gonna be a very BIG tune this Summer
also, Tempa Da Beat Kid featuring Jae Elle “On Dis Ting Remix”. After that I dropped
the new ANTHEM “Riddim”, Now I was Going In, Tracks from Wireless Sound “The Follow
Up Remix”, Available on Itunes Now, Dropped into a new personal Favourite from Sweden’s
ODiggity “Duck Hunt”, Eastwoods “U Aint Ready” still in the playlist 10 weeks later
Bangaaaaaa, Then into propbably my favourite producer at the moment Razzler Man with
tracks “Get Low” and “Jungle Synth”, Mr Solo makes an appearance with a brand spanking
new track entitled “Afro Bass”, and if you play tribal you cant do a set without putting
one of LR-Groove’s tunes in the playlist this week I chose “Sickness”, Name Says it all.

Next up was one of my good friends in the game Smoove Kriminal with “Dance Music 3″ this
guy Jeeeeezzzzuzzzz very inspiring person work rate is tremendous, basically just go to
www.smooveKriminal.com and you will see what I mean!!! Out to Smoove.
Followed that up with a track I allways play by Murdz 86 “Matrix Funk” such a good tune,
when I heard Weeksey Play that I had to just ring man straight away!!!!

After That we played Dj Dlux’s mix of “How Does It Feel” Woooooooow thats all I have to Say.
Last track of the set was from Mr Turbo and the Anthem “Hench Bird Remix” Whatta Tune.

I then played 3 tunes off Dimples new mix cd “Bad Attitude” produced by Vola, “Policeman”
featuring Nico Lindsay, Dimples, Marger and Fumin, produced by Skillioso, and finished with
Ground Work, Rude Kid on the Remix Featuring  Neeko, Calibar, Random Impulse, Black The Ripper,
Rival, J Mony & Big Narstie. Last Tune was from Kwam another Rude Kid, track Entitled
“I’m Exploding”.

At this Point I Opened up the Mic’s and Brought out Gramma MC,A very biased view but this guy
could be the biggest thing Grime has ever seen, alongside Gramz was Genie Juice who’s flow alone
graciously merked off any beat i threw at him, Very Impressed Bruv. We Played a selection of Grime
and Hip Hop Beats and these mans went Innnnnnn! Trust check it out, and tracklisting below.

Honerable Mention…

Must just give a shout to Masro on the “Mind My Crep” Instrumental or as I call It “Crep Riddim”,
my favourite Grime production Ever!!!! Check It out will have him down soon watch this space.

DJ Whitecoat Presents Linton Brown “Summer Of Lovestep” Vol 1+2

Published on April th, 2011

Here is my Favourite Up and Coming Dubstep Producer Linton Brown and what a great way to get into Dubstep if your not, or an excellent edition to your Dubstep collection if you havnt heard of this Producer. Linton’s production is top notch but my favourite pieces he has made go by the names of “Bliss”, “Horndog” and a track called “Lintons Theme”. He has a free mix series entitled “Summer of Lovestep” which we will also be showing you and talking about.

It’s been a massive year so far for Linton with remixes for the likes of Kelis, Crookers and the classic Seamus Haji version of “Take Me Away”, as well as original productions being released on labels such as Skint and Ninjatune, not to mention ‘Bloodline’ featuring on Generation Dubstep, described as “the biggest commercial Dubstep album ever released”. His tracks have been getting bigger and better with regular plays from a wide range of DJ’s from Emalkay to the Loose Cannons, plus coverage on the biggest radio stations in the UK including Radio 1, 1Xtra, Kiss, Rinse and the BBC Asian Network.

I personally like the chilled summer vibes Linton is working on and “Lintons Theme” a track i play on my show is your typical Beach House Anthem, Linton has a great ear for this and is displayed in his mixes below. Lovestep is a Genre of Dubstep he has created, so for all the people out there that find Dubstep a bit to heavy this will be right up your street. As i’ve said this guy is my favourite Producer/DJ and i will fully support his movement, and with the sun blazing down this is a great collection of songs to have in the background at your BBQ or on your ipod while you try to relax and catch a slight tan from the British Sun!

The mix starts off with possibly a groundbreaking track showing that old classics can be made better and the fusion between old and new is executed perfectly, the track is Bobby Caldwell “What You Won’t Do For Love” (DZ Remix), wow just listen, we then progress into Lintons remix of “Acapella” by Kelis, then no stranger to the scene is Rusko with “My Mouth”, we then jump into a personal favourite “Bliss” followed by “Wave” if you havnt got the Lovestep Bug by now i don’t know what planet you are on, there are then productions from Mindflow and some more Linton remixes on “We Love Animals” by Crookers, “The Virus” by Mutiny and “Stay the night” by Millionaires, all with Lintons special touch, Subscape’s “Midnight” makes an apearence followed by “Bloodline” another big Big Track by Linton, we end with “Paradise Circus” by Massive Attack with Breakage on the remix and the final track is Subscape again with “Lowlights”. I have been banging out this mix for the last week on repeat i hope you feel it like i do have a listen…
