DJ C Sharp invites Jessica Rabbit to Deja Vu, to make a special guest appearance, with English hosting, on his last ever Tuesday night show….  Jessica made a big impact in Southport this year, at the 2 House Hunting After Parties held in Chalet 275 – proving she is one of the most interesting eclectic house DJ’s to come out of London in recent years.  House Hunting & Friends have become the unofficial Southport Weekender Chalet Party maestros after putting on the biggest, liveliest and most talked about parties for the third year in a row. (392 Nov 08) – (279 May 09) – (275 May 10) With Deja Vu’s very own DJ C Sharp laying down his unmistakeable mark at SPW 46 in true Congo Natti style… with the brand new Volume 4 of House Is Not At Home and also lighting up the dance floor at the Chalet Parties…  This return show gives you a litte taster of the PROBLEMZ these two unexpected heavyweights caused in Southport this May.

The Highlights for me this year were OSUNLADE in the BEAT BAR Friday night (sat morning) He really went for that deep, rugged, urban house sound that is very popular in London at the moment, and had the crowd rocking with him. Not sure if the female dancers he had whining on the decks while he mixed was planned or not? but hey.. it worked..! Also, LOUIE VEGA and then KERRI CHANDLER both absolutely went IN!!! on Saturday night (sun morning) in the POWERHOUSE main arena.. Giving us a masterclass, with what i can only call a Journey into House.. Other highlights included MARLON D, JIMPSTER, SPEN, RESTLESS SOUL, RODIGAN..! http://www.southportweekender.co.uk/

The 275 House Hunting CHALET PARTY was only supposed to happen on Sunday morning…. but after the atmosphere from Osunlade in the beat bar someone got itchy fingers and released the tribal call from CHALET 275 on the Saturday morning. Well the Liverpool ravers were there waiting outside for the dance to kick off and so we did. They were 1st inside the Chalet by 9am!! Manchester and Leeds came soon after, We just let the tunes play and the hosts provided the added “energy energy” and “circle power”. There were a whole host of well known Dj’s lining up to put their stamp on the southport experience & proceedings ended around 2/3pm – to let everyone recharge their batteries for the 2nd night…

The Notorious House Hunting Sunday Morning Afterparty Returned at 8AM. Starting slightly earlier than usual it kicked off slowly as most people were still inside the Powerhouse rocking to the sounds of Kerri. After a quick reshuffle and round up of the troops the sounds were blearing from inside 275 to the whole of the green – For about 12 hours straight! Big shouts to Foxy from Leeds for lending us an extra speaker for outside which let the outdoor party carry on in full effect before I jumped on for my 1st set of the day. The Back to Back sets smashed it and among others, Jessica Rabbit stood out as a big crowd favourite. The hardcore ravers held firm right up till it ended at around 10pm – skanking to classic beats from DJ Manio alongside the massive lung capacity of the the horn man…
