As we enter 2011, Deja Vu continues its progress and work within the local communities.

Since its inception in 2001, The Fluent Music Project has forged a special relationship with many mainstream and independent Record Companies, DJs, MCs, Radio Stations, Press and A&R Scouts, as well as working closely within the community, in partnership various Local Authorities, School’s, Colleges, PRU’s, YOT’s and Youth Centre’s across London, Essex and Kent.

The Fluent Music Project offers talent an opportunity to be nurtured and developed in a working environment, alongside industry professionals.

The Fluent Music Project is designed to help young people with a passion for music. We give young people an opportunity to make their own music, receive knowledge and advice from working professionals and showcase their talent.

The workshops range from taster courses, giving a basic overview of how things work, to the more advanced sessions wherestudents get the opportunity to record and mix down their own demos.

We offer advice for those keen on installing an affordable home recording studio, the equipment needed and setting up their own record label, as well as the manufacturing of CDs, DVD’s, Vinyl, MP3’s, and on to distribution.

We also cater for students who have already completed sound engineering courses by offering them a chance to improve and put their skills to practical use.

Fluent Music are also proud to present our newly established – ‘Air-ducation’, Radio Production, Journalism and Presentation facility in conjunction with London’s Dejavufm.com, With our fully qualified and experienced industry professionals, students are able to gain an insight into Radio Broadcast and journalism industry.

Fluent Music Project also offers a fully equipped Film Production Suite, running taster course’s on video and film production.

Fluent Music Project & Skills Academy are also proud to re-introduce our Positive Clothing Project (PCP) and design suite, which has been designed to empower and encourage young people to explore their creative talents, as well as learn new skills in the creative design and clothing production.
