17th Feb being my birthday, This show was broadcasted as a celebration show and was invaded by a good friend and radio colleague DJ Junior B. JB always brought a good vibe and plenty of banter when on the mighty Deja.
In September 2015 I was shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of one of the most caring and genuine DJ’s we have had the pleasure on working with. Junior B was a valued contributor to our radio station and an original Deja DJ from the start.
His final show was in 2012 when he made another guest appearance, our hope was that one day he would take back up a full time position on our schedule. From the late 90’s to early 2000’s his Sunday afternoon Rice & Peas show paved the way for what the current DJs now do today.
