Star One release their debut EP ‘The Star One EP’ this week through Carrot Records.
Every Friday 12-2pm on DeJaVu is the Star One UK Showcase which highlights the best in UK Funky, Garage, Grime and House. The debut EP from the Star One duo infuses all of these influences with their trademark use of chopped samples and subtle basslines.‘Bagz’ – a silky, catchy up front vocal garage number – is the lead single of the EP. ‘Slow Down’, ‘Visions’ and the Toddla T co-produced UK Funky stomper ‘Power Riddim’ have proved very popular with Club DJ’s.
