Dj Bandit

DJ Bandit is a multi gerne DJ who was born and raised in the east side of London. He is one of the original members of Deja Vu FM who learnt and nurtured his radio skills in the legendary and iconic Deja Vu Rooftop studio.

DJ Bandit firstly started on Deja as part of a collective known as S&B AKA Streets & Beats which included his self and DJ Smally. From there he has been involved in a number of different shows on Deja VU FM including the Marcus Nasty Funky House Radio Show to The Big Debate Radio Show which was an early podcast style show.

DJ Bandit takes pride in being one of the first DJ’s to see the potential and push UK Street/Road Rap. This sound is now a mainstream gerne of music which is commercially played all over the world. Many of the so-called urban music artists within the industry got some of their first plays and interviews on his show.

DJ Bandit left radio for a few years to work behind the scenes within the music industry this involved managing a number of artists, producers, DJ’s and lead to him starting a publishing company with one of the producers he worked closely with.

Within them years DJ Bandit has continued to keep his ears to the street sounds. When he made the decision to return back to radio it was only right that he returned to the platform that gave him his first stepping stones into the Music Industry.
