Dj Havoc has flown the flag for UK garage on dejavufm since the foundation days of Mike Ruff Cut Lloyd, Pied Piper, Wayne Pasha, Bubbler, Chequers, Unknown MC, Munchie and more. Even when ‘garage’ was deemed a dirty word in the 2000’s, he but formed part of a handful of DJs that in effect, formed the 4×4 era of UK garage. He has become a champion for new garage music by highlighting and breaking music from the best new producers of the time such as Qualifide, Scott Tonic (Scott Diaz), Dj $ki, Robbie T, Solution, Delinquent, Will Phillips and many more along with the more established as Wookie, Club Asylum, Mj Cole, The Midnight Circus (For those who know!), Karl ‘Tuff Enuff’ Brown and Matt ‘Jam’ Lamont.

“As someone that used to listen to dejavu on things like my Walkman which was one of the few places I had access to this music that I fell in love with, to then playing that same music on that same station for over 20 years is something I am immensely proud. This station is a cornerstone of house and garage music. Period. Because of thatI have always felt a sense of duty to continue what the Mike Ruff Cuts and Pied Pipers did which was to lead by playing new garage music.
